Sarah M Kampbell, PhD

Founder

Sarah is a storyteller who enjoys learning about other’s life stories and sharing them for the future.  Her journey from anthropologist (M.A. Texas A&M University) to historian (PhD, Princeton University) to professional genealogist (Certificate in Professional Genealogy, Boston University) led her to the realization that lost memories and life stories cannot be replaced by names and dates on documents.

While researching her own family history, she read her Grandfather’s autobiography. It generated many questions about how he survived The Great Depression and his experiences in World War II. But he passed on, and she will never know the answers. Now she hopes to help others preserve the voices, experiences, and emotions of their loved ones.
